Combined Australian Dinosaurs, Megafauna and Animals
Step into a world of prehistoric wonders at Museums Victoria’s Pop-up Museum! This interactive experience invites families to explore an array of fossils, collection objects, taxidermy, and more, all displayed on touch-tables designed for hands-on discovery.
Tuesday 8th April from 12:00 noon - 12.30pm. Bookings are required.
The exhibit is featured as an exciting timeline journey, from the age of Australian dinosaurs, to the era of Australian megafauna and right up to the animals of today. Marvel at a life-sized Muttaburrasaurus skull and leg, discover a Diprotodon and learn about the lives and habitats of our favourite mammals, birds and reptiles.
Guided by our expert Museum Educators, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and delve deeper into the fascinating stories behind these remarkable collection objects from Museums Victoria.
Bookings required via Eventbrite. For more information, contact the library on 1300 374 765 or email shepparton@gvlibraries.com.au.
