Explore under the sea or travel to locations throughout the world using a virtual reality headset.

Virtual Reality (VR) is quickly becoming a popular way for people to travel and explore new places. VR allows people to travel in a realistic and immersive way. This can be a great way to plan a trip or for you to have a travel experience if you are unable to travel due to health or other restrictions.

Thursday 15th October from 10.30am

This is an easy introductory session during which you can look at different places around the world, from the Eiffel Tower to the Colosseum, from the streets of Tokyo to the streets of Toronto. You can also explore the oceans allowing fish, turtles and even sharks to swim passed you.  VR can give you a much more realistic experience than traditional photos or videos as you explore a 360-degree world without leaving the library.
